What is Ginatra?

The “Ginatra” experience is an evening of 

– Gin tasting 

– Associated quiz around the theme of the Gins of the evening

– Mark sings the “Songs of Sinatra” whilst guests enjoy their Gins….hence “Ginatra”

– Complete with the usual humour and optional gangster style hats etc for the guests to get involved and into “the spirit”. 

The evening can be constructed around your individual requirements and any food options that you may wish to include.

This type of evening can be ideal for fund raising events, as well as using as a different type of evening to be entertained along with your friends at a local venue.

We can either work together on the types and supply of Gin or we team up with local Gin distillers to come along and support the event, if your audience would be looking for different types of Gin with local history.

Who are we?

Mark

For 35 years, Mark Thompson has entertained audiences all over the country, as a comedy vocalist and compere, being involved with various local musical societies & groups, choirs and, in more recent times, a cabaret group that he founded with friends named “Forte”.

 

Firstly, the comedy….. If you are looking for somebody who can engage an audience with a style of comedy that is more traditional and avoids strong language, then please get in touch!

 

From compering concerts, entertaining at holiday hotels and clubs, after dinner entertainment at corporate events, weddings and charity dinners to his very own style of cabaret performances…. Mark just loves to help people laugh away the evening, peppered with songs and activities that appeal to a variety of audiences.

 

That takes us on to the Vocals….. Mark grew up in the world of amateur musical theatre, so can perform a range of songs from some of the most popular “West End” shows and musical films. In addition, whilst Mark includes a wide range of songs from the 60’s onwards in his repertoire, his personal favourites are the songs made famous by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davies jr &  Matt Munro in particular.
