Having entertained at various Golf, Bowls and other clubs over the years, Mark thoroughly enjoys the intimate atmosphere that these clubs often provide. However, organising a regular programme of entertainment to help support your club, can be difficult.

Initial Meeting

Initial Meeting

Firstly, we will sit down with you to learn more about your club, its membership, the types of events that you might have had in the past and also the location, facilities and capacity at the venue.

Options

Discuss Options

We will provide you with options of various themes of entertainment from tribute events, musical events, cabaret events, live bands and even themed dinners such as Murder Mystery and Comedy & Karaoke Dinners. We will source and book the artistes for you.

Booking

Booking

Once booked, we will provide you with professional publicity material and tickets, all of which includes specific artwork for the event. We will also have the option to make tickets available on this website, under “Future Events and Tickets”, if you wish.

Event

At The Event

We provide the compere for the evening, who will perform for a 30 minute opening routine to the evening, which will include a prize for an “ice breaker” game, before introducing the artiste for the event.

We can even underwrite the evening for you, so the club is not burdened with the costs of the event. Please ask us about our “cabaret@theclub” package to understand this in more detail.

We are very happy to work through a bespoke package for you and tailor the entertainment on a regular basis for your club or society.

Cabarets, Parties, Weddings & Holiday Hotels

Mark has entertained and compared various styles of events over the years, including online events. During the pandemic, online events have become more popular and Mark has adapted his entertainment style, even hosting a live Christmas show for an audience joining from around the world, whilst dropping in and speaking to guests in their own homes!

He formed Forte Cabaret group with a group of friends, which consists of 6 entertainers currently, who regularly entertain across Wales with their own evening of fun and music of various genre.

Having entertained at Weddings, Charity events, Pensioner Holiday Hotels and Birthday parties…. We will usually have an entertainment solution for whatever event you are planning!!

Care Homes & Pensioners Clubs

One of Mark’s passions is entertaining elderly folk either at Pensioner clubs in local communities or at residential care homes.

Whilst entertainment in care homes is a little difficult at present, due to the Covid 19 restrictions, many homes are finding an “online show” during an afternoon really helps their residents.

If you help run a pensioner group or care home and you feel that those in your care would benefit from a 30 / 45 minute show of nostalgic songs, singalong….and maybe even a drop of Gin!, either online or face to face when allowed, then please get in touch and we would love to talk to you. 

Funerals

Whilst not normally on an entertainer’s website, Mark is regularly asked to sing as a soloist at Funerals. This is always a humbling experience, as it is such a unique point in time for family and friends as they remember the life of a loved one sadly lost.

Where families feel it appropriate to have a soloist within the funeral programme, Mark has much experience of bringing a personal touch with the performance of hymns and songs that were special to the loved one, in a sympathetic manner.

During Covid times, where group singing has not been allowed, families have found a live solo to be very much appreciated by the few present.

Also, some families would prefer to avoid congregational singing in a funeral service, so a soloist helps to bring some musical content.
